George Moulds was an ardent horse lover. He died following injuries received when driving his horse and sulky along Windsor Road - at the sight of an approaching car his horse shied and the sulky overturned.

George shared a gravestone with his mother Henrietta. The gravestone was inscribed: In Loving Memory of GEORGE FRANCIS DIED 24 JULY 1932 AGED 34 YEARS PEACE PERFECT PEACE ALSO HENRIETTA DIED 9TH APR 1936. AGED 67 YEARS AT REST
