Sam, the eldest son, who is well known for his swimming capabilities, recently underwent an operation in camp hospital. Raymond, their next son, is in a different camp, while Jackie, is "somewhere in the Northern Territory". Mr McCord, who is well known as a fruiterer, and previous to that as a mine deputy, recently decided to live the remainder of his life in retirement.
