Rev'd Sir,
About two years back I had the misfortune of losing my husband Joseph Brammer and at his deceased my little boy, Thomas Brammer was taken from me and placed in the Orphan School. He is now about three years of age, and having a sufficient means to support him emboldens me most respectfully to solicit your Reverence in having him restored to me and beg leave to refer to the annexed certificate of my ability and character as also of my having ample means for his support.
I am
Revd Sir
Your Obedient Servant
