Text: Arrived in the colony 4 Mar 1831 Citation details: Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser Sat 29 May 1830 p. 2 Text: A young man named George Cleaver was brought up at the New Bailey on Tuesday, charged with attempting to break into a warehouse in Cannon-street early that morning. A watchman stated he found the prisoner attempting to force off the lock of the warehouse door by means of a large iron chisel. The prisoner stated he came from Warwickshire. He was committed for one month under the vagrant act. |
