He was a seaman or a labourer aged 20 and had stolen a watch the property of William Watson, plus two linen shirts, one linen waistcoat, one pair of stockings, 1 cotton handkerchief, and a red leather pocket book, the property of John Hurst. The total value of the stolen goods was seven shillings and ten pence.
