At Cope's Creek, on the 21st of October, 1855, Ann, the beloved wife of John Cameron, in the forty-second year of her age, after a long and painful illness, leaving a family of seven children to lament her loss. She was greatly esteemed and respected by all who knew her.

Killed, by a fall from his horse at Uralla, on the 18th inst., in the 64th year of his age, John Cameron, formerly of Cope's Creek, and father of Mrs. Borthwick, Menedebrie, and Mrs Graham, of Nymboida, and five sons in different parts of the colony. He will be deeply mourned for by his children and numerous relations and a large circle of friends.
