Mrs. Elizabeth Hart
Late on Tuesday evening, the death of Mrs Elizabeth Hart, an old resident of Parramatta, ensued after a long and painful illness. The deceased lady was 70 years of age, and was the wife of Mr William Hart, of Bligh-street, Harris Park, and mother of Messrs. William, George, Joseph, James and John Hart (who is now in the North), and Mrs. H. Gould (of Parramatta), and Mrs. jackson (of Brisbane). The deceased had long been a resident of this town, and the funeral on Thursday afternoon was attended by very many - friends of the family. Floral tributes of respect were both numerous and handsome. The interment took place in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Western Road, and the Rev. P. J. Stephen was the officiating clergyman. Mrs Jordan Sparks carried out the arrangements for the funeral.
