Text: At Kedgeree at the mouth of the Hoogly whilst at anchor waiting for the Pilot to take us to sea, you poor sister Eliza, born at Trincomalee and next to you, fourteen months old, went to bed in perfect health and the next morning we found her dead, having no doubt during the night been seized with convulsions. |
