Text: The many friends of Mrs. Charles Bancroft, former,y Miss Moses, of Sydney, will regret to hear of her sad bereavement in the death of her husband, Captain Bancroft, late of the Royal Welsh Fusileers, which occurred last Saturday at Bickenhall Mansions. Captain Bancroft was a son of Sir Squire and Lady Bancroft, and a clever linguist, being translator from the Russian newspapers and writer for several London journals.
