Sarah Jane Thompson came free to the Colony in 1820 on board the convict ship "Morley". She arrived with her step brother John O'Neill five years after their parents were transported for life - They joined their parents Sarah & Daniel O'Neill at Parramatta, NSW... On 10-10-1842 John Shying married Bridget Gillorley, a widow who sadly died just two and a half years later. Bridget Shying is buried with Daniel O'Neill, stepfather to John's first wife Sarah in the St Patrick's Cemetery.
