DEATH OF MRS. JAMES.
Mrs. Amelia James (87), the mother of
the different members of the families of
the same. name, so well known in Kelly
ville and Castle Hill — besides of other
Hills residents— died at Parramatta on
the 13th- inst. Tho funeral took place
at Rouse Hill on Tuesday, and was large
ly attended. Tho arrangements were in
the hands of Messrs. Wm, Metcalfe and
Co. One of Mrs. James' daughters Is
Mrs. F. Black, of Dural.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Amelia
Ann James, relict of the late James
James, of Kellyville, took place on Tues-
day afternoon, when the remains were
interred in the Rouse Hill cemetery be-
side those of her late husband and son.
The funeral service was conducted by the
Rev. R. H. Pitt Owen, in the presence of
a large number of old residents of the
district. The body, at the special request
of the deceased, was borne from the
hearse to the graveside by four of her
sons. All her sons were present, viz.,
William, George, Albert J., James R.,
Frederick,. and Joseph (Goulburn).
