The news of the death of Mrs. Louisa Wrench, wife of Mr. Walter D. Wrench, of "Speedwell," Kenthurst-road, Kent- hurst, which occurred on Saturday night last, came as a great shock to her many friends in the district. She was apparent- ly in good health just prior to her end, so much so that her husband was away at Leeton when the sad event happened, and it was not until members of his fam- ily met him at Strathfleld the following morning that he was made aware of the blow which had fallen upon his house hold. Mrs. Wrench was a native of Eng- land, where she was born 62 years ago, but for very many years had resided at Kenthurst, where her husband is an or- chardist in a large way. She leaves in addition to her husband, a family of six children, including four sons and two daughters. The funeral, which was con- ducted by Metcalfe, Morris (Amalgamat ed), took place on Monday, the interment being carried out in the Church of Eng- land Cemetery, Dural, in the presence of a very large gathering. Rev. T. Knox (Castle Hill) officiated at the graveside.
