Found in a Waterhole.
Mrs. Allsop, a very old resident of the
Hills district, and mother of the family of
that well known name, was on Saturday
afternoon found drowned in a waterhole
on a relative's place at Glenorie.
It would appear from what
meagre particulars are to hand that
the other members of the family were in
attendance at a social function on the
evening previous and, getting up late
they did not notice particularly the ab-
sence of the old lady from the scene.
When she was missed it was thought that
possibly she had strolled off to a neigh-
bour's. Then the discovery was made that
her body was in the waterhole. The cir-
cumstances of the case were investigated
by the Windsor Coroner, and a verdict of
found drowned was entered.
