At these Assizes the five following prisoners were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death, viz. -
...Henry Clack for stealing divers goods from the dwelling-house of Mr S.G. Lenny of Laxfirld.
Before the Judges left town, the three latter were reprieved.
Wm Clack for receiving the goods stolen by the above named Henry Clack, was sentenced to 12 years' transportation.
