Pennant Hills.
Death: of Mrs. Thompson. — Much
regret was expressed in the district at the
death of Mrs. Hannah Thompson, wife of
Mr. T. Thompson, sen., who carried on
business for so many years at 'the
Corner.' The old lady had been ill for a
long time, and her death, which took place
on Wednesday afternoon, was not un-
expected. She was 60 years of age, and is
survived by her husband and all her sons,
including Messrs. Lewis, Joseph, Thomas,
Arthur and Oliver Thompson (of Pennant
Hills), Albert Thompson (Parramatta),
Fred Thompson (Kenthurst), and Ernest,
Mark and Clifton Thompson (Western
Australia). Mrs. Thompson was a sister
of Mrs. W. Crane (Castle Hill) and Mrs.
Cusbert (Pennant Hills). The funeral at
the Castle Hill Wesleyan Cemetery on
Thursday afternoon was very largely
attended.
