McCORD - In loving memory of our dear niece, Matilda, who died Feb. 18th 1916, aged 18.
She has gone from among us, oh how we miss her,
Loving her dearly, her memory we'll keep,
Never till life ends shall we forget her,
Dear to our hearts is the place where she sleeps.
In the bloom of her life death claimed her.
In the pride of her girlhood days;
None knew her but to love her,
None mentioned her name but with praise.
- Inserted by her beloved uncle and aunt, Samuel and Margaret McCord, Pyothall Road, Broxburn.

Note: Samuel McCord (uncle) was present at her death and was the informant.
