The adjourned affliliation case, Lydia Sharpe v. Charles Purnell was resumed and concluded. Mr. Roberts appeared for the complainant; Mr. Dalley counsel for defendant. The Bench adjudged defendant to be the father of the child, and ordered him to pay the sum of ten shillings weekly towards its support, and to enter into recognisances himself in 20 pounds and two in 10 pounds each, for the fulfilment of the order. 5 pounds 5 shillings costs were allowed. Ind efault of finding such sureties to be imprisoned until order complied with.

BEFORE Mr District Judge Dowling, Crown Prosecutor, Mr. Foster.
William Byrnes and Julia Isabella Byrnes his wife, were indicted for having, on the 3rd of October last, stolen 200 lbs. of fine flour and one bag, the property of Charles Purnell, a baker, whose premises adjoined the prisoners' in George-street, Windsor. The jury found a verdict of not guilty against the both.'
