Text: Sophia Newcombe was alive in 1845. She is mentioned as a witness in a criminal case on Kangaroo Island in the SA papers. I feel that there has been some miss direction in the research of combe. There were several combes in New South Wales. As yet I have not found any evidence of her death. |
