He had a tatto mark on his right wrist. He was 5 feet 5 and a quarter inches tall, of dark complexion with brown eyes and hair. His address at the time of enlistment was King S. Dangenong. He cited his next of kin as his mother, Mrs J. Lee of Kings [sic] Street Dandenong.
