WARWICK ASSIZES. - The following are the names and offences of the prisoners capitally convicted:-...John Short, Richard Eagles, and George Gardner, for stealing from the person of J. Chandler, at the Grey Horse, in Dale End, Birmingham, a purse, with three 1 pound notes, and cash to the amount of 45 shillings and 12 pence, his property...They all were reprieved before the Judges left town.
