Source: unknown Text: Ann Thornley was accused of stealing, twenty yards of linen cloth and then bleaching and whitening the same cloth. She was convicted in the County of Lancaster, England, on the 21st October 1817, and arrived in the colony aboard the ship "Maria" with her daughter, Margaret.
