A Central Farm comprising one hundred acres, upwards of 30 clear, the whole well-watered being in from of George's River, and known by the name of Chipp's Farm; pleasantly situate, and equally calculated for stock or agriculture.
On the premises are a good shingled Dwelling-house, barn, and other requisites. Persons wishing to treat for the same are requested to make application to Thos. Chipp on the premises."

"... The dutiful memorial of Thos. Chip
most respectfully sheweth
That your dutiful memorialist has been twenty five years in H.M. Service, eleven of which he has served in this country and is now discharged. That your memorialist received from Governor Hunter a grant of sixty acres of land in Norfolk Island as a reward for his long services. That your memorialist is one of the settlers at that Island who were removed from there by order of H.M. Government and was in consequence ordered to go to the Derwent River. Your memorialist having some objections to settle at that place applied to his Honor Lieutenant Governor Paterson to have an allotment in this settlement which His Honor was pleased to comply with and offered on him the grant for one hundred acres in the district of Minto, which your dutiful memorialist herewith encloses conformal to General Orders humbly hoping and praying that your Excellency will be graciously please to confirm or renew the said grant, and he us in duty bound shall ever pray..."
Annotated: "For renewal of grant of land in Minto, 1810".
