"...This memorial of John Fulton of Castlereagh most respectfully sheweth
That Your Excellency's memorialist having spent several years under the tuition of his father at Sydney and Castlereagh and having been employed some part of that time in superintending his sheep and other cattle would be glad to do something for himself as a farmer and begs that Your Excellency may grant him a farm for that purpose and your Excellency's memorialist as in duty bound
