A double wedding took place in Sydney St John's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday 26th [sic] instant, when the Rev. Father O'Donnell solnemnised the marriages of Mr. McManus with Miss Turvey and Mr. Lachey and Miss A. Turvey. Miss McManus and Miss Lachey were bridesmaids, with two trainbearers, the Misses Camilus and Winnie Naughton. Both brides were dressed in cream crepe de Chine, with wreaths and veils. The breakfast was held in the Centennial Hotel, where a large number of guests were entertained.
