31/3/1831 Strabane Morning Post: "Indicted, for that he with others on the night of the 3rd of December, 1830, at Knocknaroy, unlawfully assembled, being armed with guns, pistols, bayonets, &c., and did then attack the dwelling-house of WILLIAM DAVIDSON, and stab and cut the said WILLIAM DAVIDSON – Guilty; to be hanged on the 16th of April next. The other 3 were found not guilty."
