"... The Petition of Francis Dalton (Clerk to the Parramatta Store)
Most humbly sheweth
That your Excellency's petitioner hath purchased a house in the township of Parramatta in which he dwells, for a lease for which petitioner made application to the late Lieut. Governor Paterson which he was pleased to grant.
Petitioner therefore most humbly hopes Your Excellency will do him the favor to sanction the same and as in duty bound
Shall ever most gratefully pray"
