The wedding bells were ringing at St. Helen's on December 18 (writes our Dinmore correspondent), when two young people, natives of the district, were joined in matrimony. Mr Henry Humphreys, son of Mr. William Hum phreys of the Pottery, Dinmore, and Miss Ellen Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mr. James Williams, of Ebbw Vale, were the happy couple. A large family circle faced the Rev. Isaac Bugg, in Mrs. Williams's home, as he conducted the brief, but impressive marriage service, and invoked the Di vine blessing upon the union. The popularity of the bride and bridegroom was manifested as they journeyed by motor-car to be photographed, in Ips wich, groups of friends, with ropes across the road, holding up the car, while the occupants listened to many heartily expressed good wishes and congratulations. On the return of the bridal party, the company adjourned to a specially erected and gaily decorat ed marquee, where the wedding break feast had been spread. The usual toasts were honoured, and many con gratulations were voiced. Numerous presents were in evidence.
