Shared note	When their father Stephen decided to give up his slaughtering business, his sons William and James began one themselves. The new slaughterhouse was located on the other side of Windsor Road on 5 acres opposite their house. The property ran f rom Windsor Road down to the creek, where Aruma and Ikara Avenues were located (1992). The shed frames and the gibbet from which the slaughtered beasts were hung still stood in the 1950's.
