George's family name was spelled 'Glazer' on New South Wales BDM website.
Ellen had been a pupil of Philip Wayne at the Peat's Ferry Road School, Hookham's Corner, and Mr Wayne gave them a wedding present gift of a copy of Burns' Poetical Works. In it Wayne inscribed the words: 'May your path in life be smooth and happy to its end'. The poetry book was inherited by Ellen's grand daughter Joan Glazier of Waitara.
